Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the People Strategy for the businesses you support in line with both WBD and business goals while having a deep understanding of the business priorities.
  • Work with the leadership team to continuously review business and people strategy and ensure the organization structure and talent align to deliver commercial success in the future.
  • Act as one team; proactively and positively support initiatives and organization changes to align with the wider WBD business and other organizational initiatives.
  • Be a trusted and strategic partner to the leadership team and act as an active and influential member of that team.
  • Strategically partner with P&C CoEs to provide support and guidance to the business including Staffing, Learning & Development, Change Management and Talent Development customizing materials where necessary to be relevant for your groups.
  • Create what’s next; role model a continuous journey of self-development - ask questions, network externally and with WBD colleagues to ensure you have the best understanding of the future business priorities, talent, organization and roles.
  • Continually strive to provide HR ‘best practices’ through information sharing internally and external benchmarking.
  • Build a rich and diverse leadership talent pipeline to fill the succession plans for leadership and critical roles - through effective conversations both externally and internally to source and recruit great talent.
  • Know our Top Talent. Facilitate calibration sessions, conversations, development opportunities and retention strategies for our Talent on an ongoing basis. Challenge assumptions and routine approaches to ensure a robust, diverse and inclusive pipeline of Talent.
  • Proactively implement principles that ensure implementation of inclusive, fair and equitable processes for recruitment and in-role promotions.
  • Lead or partner (as applicable) on P&C related projects and support the roll out of annual global P&C initiatives.
  • Dream It & Own It; be the P&C Partner on new and innovative business projects and lead on organization and people focused priorities. Liaise with specialist functions (Reward, Legal etc.) as needed.
  • Design and implement a P&C strategy for your team and to align with the broader strategies of both the wider P&C function and of the businesses you support.
  • Leadership: mentor, develop and coach your P&C team.
  • Champion inclusion; proactively build a rich and diverse organization.
