The Wealth Management Associate Program is a 5-month salaried program.
What kind of training does the program provide?
The program offers a comprehensive training curriculum that provides opportunities to gain a thorough understanding of Scotiabank’s Private Banking and Wealth Advisory businesses, as well as support for preparing for a client-facing role in Private Banking.
What qualifications do I need to apply for the program?
To apply for the program, you should be completing a master’s degree by June 2025 or have relevant work experience in building client relationships and providing financial advice. Additionally, you need to have completed a course that will enable you to register with the appropriate provincial securities commission to obtain a license to sell mutual funds.
Is there an opportunity for further certification during the program?
Yes, there is a path to completing the Certified Financial Planning Certification during the program.
