Responsibilities

  • CAD creation and development, ensuring full accuracy and high level of detail.
  • Assistance with design and development of our existing active ranges. Working into new styles and silhouettes.
  • Assistance with market and trend research for new ranges including new styles, fabrics and trims. Helping to create mood boards on Illustrator for design presentations.
  • Responsible for assisting the Designer in creating tech packs to a high level and ensuring they are kept up to date. Annotating CADs, adding relevant imagery and adding fabric and trim information to the BOM.
  • Creation of range overviews and ensuring they are regularly updated and fully accurate.
  • Assistance in setting up presentation decks and ensuring they are accurate and up to date.
  • Sending suppliers a package of Design tech packs, Garment Tech workbooks and lab dip requests.
  • Assisting the Asst Buyer with lab dip management, checking against pantones and feeding back to suppliers.
  • Manage new trim requests, working closely with Asst Buyer for trim development and sign off.
  • Assist with new graphics developments.
  • Manage fabric library, keeping track of new fabric orders and organising the space.
  • Participate in fit sessions, taking any notes relevant for updating CADs / tech packs.
  • Manage product room upkeep and tidiness.
  • Assist with the set-up and preparation for all design meetings. Coordinate relevant samples and documents.
  • Regular note taking within meetings to a high level of detail and accuracy.
