Responsibilities

  • Day-to-Day Support Activities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the regional Workday Support Team, addressing inquiries and issues, and aligning on action plans while providing expertise and guidance for defect investigation or configuration change requests.
  • Triage, assign, and monitor the progress of tickets through governance mechanisms and check-ins with the global team. Participate in relevant testing activity.
  • Record root-cause and impact analyses, as well as configuration documentation for all tickets.
  • Manage security assignments and approvals within the time zone and handle service requests when necessary.
  • Prepare and communicate KPIs related to support and Workday adoption/usage within the time zone.
  • Change and Communication Support
  • Work with regional teams to facilitate ongoing adoption of Workday features and functionality.
  • Provide insights to global leads based on user needs and experiences to enhance the overall Workday experience.
  • Disseminate key information and decisions to the global HR communities.
  • Train regional teams on new Workday features.
  • Release Management and Ad-hoc Projects
  • Review and assess feature updates provided by Workday.
  • Adapt test scripts for configuration changes and partner with regional teams for local regression testing.
  • Document and support regional change request requirements.
  • Assist with end-to-end testing for releases and configuration changes.
  • Governance
  • Assist Data Stewards in their roles.
  • Oversee data accuracy and collaborate on data quality improvements.
  • Implement global data requirements and resolve technical data issues.
  • Suggest and maintain system-enforced data controls as agreed with Data Owners & Stewards.
