Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for managing and leading the WWA Duty Operations Manager team (x6).
  • Accountable for the development and continuous improvement of standard operating processes to support the wider WWA operational teams with the punctual delivery of the daily operation.
  • Ensuring that the recently introduced WWA Duty Operations Manager team continues to excel to support our airports and customer both in regular and irregular operations.
  • You will work to ensure that your team are punctuality focused, working to deliver a performance focused culture within the team.
  • You will work closely with key stakeholders across WWA, including members of the WWA leadership team and airports to support any on-going performance plans whilst also ensuring any response to irregular operations is effective and timely.
  • You will work closely with key stakeholders across the Global Operations IOC, ensuring a collaborative approach and effective channels of communication, whilst representing the WWA directorate as required.
  • As team manager you will also be the key point of contact for the Global Operations Business Resilience team, undertaking accountability of the WWA compliance with the corporate crisis management response.
  • You will be an active member of the WWA CMT roster, whilst ensuring oversight of this roster and being accountable for the processes and procedures that support the WWA crisis management response, in conjunction with the Global Operational Business resilience team.
