Based in Central Pennsylvania, Cignal builds software for trustworthy machine vision artificial intelligence (AI). Our patented Cignal Engine is a world designed for how machines see. In this environment, AI models can be exercised and tested before they're deployed in the real world. Unlike other types of engines, Cignal Engine works outside of the visible spectrum – in X-ray, X-ray CT, and millimeter wave. We use our engine to test how well transportation security AI models detect firearms, explosives, narcotics, and other dangerous items on people and in baggage and cargo.
