ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

<ul><li>A passion for learning multiple sides of heavy construction, including Civil Construction Management, Project Management, and Estimating</li>

As an Estimating/Project Management Intern you will be introduced to a variety of office and field activities in order to develop your understanding of civil construction. You can expect to spend time learning and working on shop drawings, submittals, schedules, take offs, pay requests, contract changes and project documentation.

TOTAL COMPENSATION

$25.24 to $34.38 per hour


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist and learn the preparation of estimates by calculating complete quantity takeoffs of the scope of work and assuring estimates are accurate and in line with expected unit cost history as well as profit margins.
Assist and learn how to prepare detailed proposal specifications, schedule, and coordinate concept drawings that accurately portray the scope of work and requirements of the project for presentation to the owner.
Support both administrative and construction activities as assigned by supervisor; review proposals, specifications and drawings; perform material takeoffs, prepare cost estimates and attend pre-bid investigation meetings.
