We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist / Neuropsychologist to join a large Neuropsychology department at Southmead Hospital with links to the University of Bristol Neuropsychology courses. This is fixed term opportunity until 31 March 2025 at Band 7 or 8a (depending on experience). There are 22.5-30 hours per week available depending on banding and start date (minimum commitment of 22.5 hours). The post is primarily in the General Outpatients Neuropsychology service offering neuropsychological assessments for diagnostic and treatment purposes and brief interventions across a wide range of clinical populations, including multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease, traumatic brain injury, hydrocephalus, and epilepsy, etc. You will join a large, friendly, supportive and welcoming Neuropsychology department comprised of 13 Clinical Neuropsychologists/Psychologists and 9 Assistant Psychologists in 5 services (General Outpatients, Neurosurgery, Cognitive Disorders, Stroke and Community Head Injury). You will have access to supervision from a Clinical Neuropsychologist on the Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists.
