About
Throughout the months of February and March you're invited to attend a mini-series of virtual events which have been designed to give you an insight into life at Ashurst. The mini-series is open to university students and graduates of all degree disciplines and is a fantastic way to learn more about the firm, broaden your commercial awareness and build your network with both peers and representatives of the firm.Expect insights from our Early Careers Team, Associates discussing their commercial awareness and practice, an exciting take on new Law from Ashurst Advance and learn about how we're putting Inclusion, Diversity and Belonging at the heart of everything we do at Ashurst!
The mini-series may be of particular interest to candidates who are applying for our Direct Training Contract and would be a great starting point to learn more about as a firm ahead of making your application. The series is also a great introduction for first years who are building their knowledge and network in the industry. You are invited to register for as many of the mini-series events as you wish.
We'd love to see you at our sessions, and subsequently would hope you'd see Ashurst as a place you could kick start your career - so please do get involved!
A question we are often asked is "is it more difficult to secure a training contract if I haven't studied law?". The answer to that question is no, and we are dedicating this event to discuss non-law entry into law. You will hear from a panel of non-law associates who will talk you through their journey into the profession including how to showcase your alternative skills and experiences to secure a training contract.
This session will be hosted via Zoom and a meeting link will be circulated the day before the event.
