What is the location of the internship?
The internship is located at our Plymouth, MI office.
What is the required educational background for the intern position?
Candidates must be current students pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Geology.
Is prior experience required for this internship?
No experience is required; we provide training for all interns.
What kind of tasks will interns be expected to perform?
Interns will perform a variety of office and field tasks, including supporting engineering staff, utilizing drawings and specifications, and communicating with clients and project teams.
What are the physical requirements for the position?
Interns must be able to lift 30 to 50 pounds occasionally, work outdoors in adverse weather conditions, as well as stand and walk for long periods of time.
What skills are necessary for this role?
Basic math, calculator and computer skills, as well as effective verbal and written communication abilities are necessary.
