What is the duration of the internship?
The internship is a summer position for 2025.
Who is eligible to apply for this internship?
Applicants must be registered undergraduate students (rising Junior or rising Senior) or registered graduate university students for Fall 2024, and must have successfully completed the 2024 IBM Sales Intern Program.
What primary responsibilities will I have during the internship?
Your primary responsibilities will include sales prospecting, solution-selling, designing use cases and proofs of concept, customer engagement and support, and staying up to date with industry trends and innovations.
Is travel required for this position?
Yes, there may be a need to independently travel to local IBM clients and meetings, up to 10%.
What type of educational background is preferred for this internship?
A Bachelor's degree with a STEM major and/or minor is required, or a Bachelor's degree attained with a pursuit of a master’s degree with a STEM major and/or minor.
Are there specific skills or experiences that would enhance my application?
Yes, prior work experience in client sales or service and programming coursework or experience would be beneficial.

You may work with technologies such as Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Cloud and Cognitive, Internet of Things, Security, or Systems Hardware.
