Requirements

Education and Experience:
Enrolled in an undergraduate or diploma program in architecture at a post-secondary institution.
Ability to learn new procedures, skills, software, and tools required to perform the work.
Competencies (knowledge, skill, attributes):
Good understanding of architectural and business fundamentals as they apply to architectural problems and projects
Ability to learn quickly and to take on new challenges
Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Shows critical and creative thinking and problem solving, and brings forward solutions for our clients' toughest challenges

Responsibilities

Assist in the production of deliverables to illustrate conceptual, schematic, and detailed design including massing models, diagrams, isometrics, sketches, presentation material, brochures, etc.
Creating graphic representations using design software like Illustrator, Photoshop, and PowerPoint. Working with two-dimensional drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, and MicroStation) and three-dimensional modeling software (e.g., Revit, OpenBuildings, SketchUp, Twin motion, Lumion, etc.) to produce massing models, renderings, and animations.
Assist with administrative tasks like setup of lunch & learn sessions, organize sample libraries, perform CAD work for office standards, collect and organize reference information, etc.
