No, this Fellowship is not a Graduate Assistantship and does not come with a tuition waiver.
What are the primary responsibilities of the Athletic Training Fellow?
Primary responsibilities include assisting and collaborating with the Athletic Medicine Staff and Duke Team Physicians to deliver medical care to student-athletes, as well as supervising Athletic Training Students and performing administrative tasks as delegated.
Are there benefits associated with this Fellowship?
The Fellowship includes hourly pay but does not come with traditional benefits. However, it does cover state licensure fees, NATA membership fees, and liability insurance.
What is the anticipated pay range for this position?
The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is between USD $18.00 to USD $22.39.
Do candidates need prior experience in athletic training?
No prior experience beyond a Bachelor's degree is required, although familiarity with NCAA governing rules is preferred.
