Is this internship position remote?
No, this is not a remote position; the internship is based in the Portland, Oregon office.
What kinds of projects will interns work on?
Interns will contribute to the pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects of varying sizes and scopes.
What qualifications are required for this internship?
Candidates must be in the process of receiving an ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering, or other related engineering majors such as Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
What technical software will interns be expected to learn?
Interns will learn one or more software programs specific to their disciplines, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, and/or GIS.
