  • KBR is looking for highly motivated rising Juniors, Seniors and Graduate students seeking science, engineering and software development opportunities that provide challenging and meaningful work experience to be a part of our 2024 Intern class. 
  • KBR is looking to develop an automated solution that will improve our ability to be competitive in the contracting industry while reducing our effort to be more successful. Building a system that automatically allows us to observe opportunities that align with KBR's business objectives and allow us to definitively act when those opportunities match our abilities, improving our response time and remove manual effort to identify, respond to and win (RFI) Request for Information/(RFP) Request for Purchase's. Automation allows us to standardize the process via a system and reduce our cycles through process standardization. The software solution that would be developed through this internship would allow us to set criteria for the work that we can act upon and then set process milestones based on the needed delivery date. This will allow proper tracking of the process and identify the appropriate business owners responsible for delivering the winning response. 


  • Computer science software programming experience with Python, Java, and/or C/C++
  • Experience working in DevSecOps software factory pipelines.
  • Experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML) and Systems Architect
  • Comfortable with documenting plans and results in Word or PowerPoint
  • Comfortable working in an Agile development methodology
  • Major field of study: Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineers.
  • Scheduled Weekly Hours: Average 40 hours per week.
