What is the duration of the Environmental Planning Internship?
The internship is a paid temporary position for 8 to 12 weeks.

The internship is available in our Lakewood, Colorado, or Salt Lake City, Utah offices.
What will the intern's main responsibilities be?
The intern will assist in collecting and analyzing land use and environmental resource data, participate in site visits and fieldwork, collaborate on feasibility studies, research permitting requirements, and engage in stakeholder communication.
Is there an opportunity for mentorship during the internship?
Yes, the internship program includes one-on-one mentorship and team collaboration opportunities.
What educational background is required for the position?
Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Planning, Landscape Architecture, Urban or Regional Planning, Geography, Environmental Science or Management, Biology, or a related field.
Are there opportunities for professional development during the internship?
Yes, interns will participate in professional development sessions focused on resume writing, interview tips, and building a LinkedIn profile.
What software knowledge is preferred for this position?
Introductory knowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) is required, and knowledge of Google Earth, ArcGIS, digital SLR cameras, and GPS equipment is a plus.
Can international students apply for this internship?

What is the pay range for this internship?
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00 per hour.
