What are the main responsibilities of the intern position?
The intern will conduct field and laboratory testing of concrete, soil, asphalt, and aggregates, perform sampling or testing as directed, assist other field and laboratory personnel, transport equipment and specimens, clean equipment and work areas, and assist other technicians with routine tasks.
What are the educational requirements for this internship?
The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma and be in progress toward a BS degree in a science or related field, such as environmental, safety, engineering, chemistry, biology, or geology, with less than one year remaining to complete the degree.
What is the salary range for this intern position?
The expected salary range for this position is $17.75 - $22.50 per hour, which may be adjusted based on the specific location and individual qualifications and experience.
Will the intern receive training?
Yes, the intern will be placed in a progressively increased role of training and responsibility in work assignments.
