What is the purpose of the Intern - Project Management position at Grifols?
The purpose of the position is to provide the Operational Excellence Intern with the opportunity to learn project management methodology, lean manufacturing methodology, and gain an overview of the manufacturing process/equipment and reliability/sustainability initiatives.
What are the main responsibilities of the intern?
Key responsibilities include generating comprehensive files of key equipment, creating templates for project meetings and presentations, uploading relevant documents to a shared drive, organizing project team folders for better access, and assisting the Associate Director of Project Management with meeting minutes and recordings.
What are the educational requirements for this internship?
Candidates must be currently enrolled in a 4-year degree program pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing or a Scientific field (Biology/Chemistry preferred), as a rising junior or senior, or currently accepted/enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program.
What is the minimum GPA requirement for applicants?
Candidates must currently have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Are there specific software skills required for this position?
Yes, familiarity and comfort with Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, Visio, and PowerPoint are required.
Is prior project management training/experience necessary for this internship?
Training or experience with Project Management is preferred but not required.
