Responsibilities

  • Assessing risk in our supply chain alongside strictly commercial considerations and establishing ongoing touchpoints in areas such as financial health, business continuity preparedness, management of greenhouse gas emissions, and ethical performance.
  • Developing resources and guidance to drive compliance with our sourcing policies and effective contracting, and guidelines ensuring that correct due diligence is completed to minimise risk
  • Implementing Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) treatment strategies with key suppliers to Pearson to promote relationship health factors that enable ongoing, mutual commercial success. This includes activities such as health assessments, establishing governance with clear accountabilities, and taking risk mitigation steps.
