  • The Online Education Unit (OEU) at Carnegie Mellon University is searching for a Marketing intern to join our team this summer! The OEU is an internal “start-up” dedicated to the successful launch and delivery of online graduate degree programs, certificates and professional education. This unit provides marketing, recruiting and student support services to academic units across the university with ultimate responsibility for student enrollment and retention. This intern will have the unique opportunity to play an important role supporting the OEU’s marketing activities. It is a great opportunity for a self-starter to gain exposure and experience in a variety of areas.


  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in communications, marketing, business, design, or related field
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Able to work independently and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Proficiency with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proficiency with HTML and CSS for design
  • Proficiency with and understanding of Google Analytics and SEO
  • Prior experience with content management systems (WordPress, Cascade Drupal, etc.) preferred
  • Successful background check
