A high school diploma or GED is required. Additionally, candidates must be accepted or enrolled in a nursing program by the date of hire and begin classes within 90 days of that date.
What certification is required for this position?
The candidate must obtain a BLS Provider certification within one month (30 days) of hire or job transfer, which must be from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
