  • Education:
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Enrolled in, and have successfully completed second year of, a professional Bachelor's of Science degree program in Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

  • Perform the duties of a staff pharmacist under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
  • Under direct supervision, maintain proper narcotic documentation and ensure proper distribution of narcotic medications.
  • Under direct supervision, ensure appropriate selection of dosing, administering and monitoring of medication.
  • Dispense medications accurately for delivery to patient care areas.
  • May compound medications.
  • Assist pharmacists with maintaining and monitoring patient profiles.
  • Provide medication information and education to medical staff and patients.
