Responsibilities

  • You will assist in providing support to a team of Environmental Consultants in Belfast and across the wider UK team.
  • This will include: assist the team in collating baseline environmental data for particular schemes and projects.
  • This is addressed through consultation and through review of published information on the web and GIS databases.
  • Assisting the relevant technical specialists in gathering site information, such as Phase I habitat surveys, water constraint mapping, general site walkovers.
  • You will assist in producing reports or early determination of environmental constraints and will be provided the opportunity to undertake environment impact reporting and to gain more involvement in a particular area of interest, where feasible.
  • You will also assist in general administration and correspondence within the Environment team.
  • Gain hands-on experience supporting the environmental assessment and monitoring of infrastructure schemes at pre and post planning stage.
