We are open to hiring candidates from California, Connecticut, Florida, Indiana, Illinois, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and Washington D.C.
What kind of skills are you looking for in candidates?
We are looking for candidates with strong writing and editing skills, an ability to navigate social media, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in technology and tech companies.
Is there a specific background required for applicants?
While a background or experience in PR, journalism, English, political campaigns, technology, and/or marketing is preferred, it is not mandatory.
What kind of tasks will interns be responsible for?
Interns will attend client meetings, compile media coverage reports, research, draft pitches and press materials, conduct customer interviews, write press releases and blog posts, and engage in social media activities.

Yes, Highwire provides dedicated managers and mentors to support the growth of interns throughout the program.
