Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a higher education program (college or university) with one remaining year left after the internship ends: Business, Economics, Finance and related majors preferred
  • To be considered for the intern position, applicant must be legally authorized to work in the United Kingdom on a full-time basis upon hire. PitchBook will not consider candidates for this position who require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g., Graduate or Skilled Worker Visa). The company may in its sole discretion extend your contract for a further fixed term period(s) to be agreed by you and the Company
  • Strong interest in private equity, venture capital, growth equity, and M&A
  • Experience with written analysis
  • Detail-oriented and analytical mindset
  • Self-motivated, persistent, and goal-oriented attitude and can work effectively as an individual or as part of a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily

Responsibilities

  • Assist team with research and analysis covering alternative investments with an emphasis on private equity and venture capital
  • Utilize proprietary PitchBook data, the internet, newspapers, academic white papers, public and private company research notes, economic indicator forecasts, etc. to inform and develop actionable analysis
  • Work closely with team to develop frameworks for new research products
  • Connect with investors and relevant market participants to add valuable insights to analysis
  • Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors
  • Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested
