What are the entry requirements for the apprenticeship?
The entry requirements include three GCSEs at Grade 4 (C) or above including Maths, English, and a STEM subject, as well as a minimum of 112 tariff points at A-Levels, including Grade B in A-Level Mathematics.
What salary can apprentices expect to receive?
Apprentices can expect to earn a competitive salary package starting at approximately £24,931 per year.
Are there benefits provided during the apprenticeship?
Yes, apprentices receive 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, access to a contributory share and pension scheme, flexible benefits, and potentially up to a 9% bonus.
What qualification will apprentices receive upon completion of the program?
Apprentices will receive a Level 6 Product Design and Development Engineer Apprenticeship certificate and a BEng (Hons) in Applied Professional Engineering.
Will apprentices have to attend university during the program?
Yes, apprentices are required to attend university on a block release basis, which may involve travel and potential overnight stays.
What type of experience will apprentices gain during this program?
Apprentices will undertake various six-month placements across different functional areas, gaining hands-on experience while contributing to business objectives.
