Requirements

  • PhD student in physics, computer science or a relevant field
  • Research experience in quantum communication/cryptography, quantum computing, or quantum photonics.
  • A strong research track record demonstrated by peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations
  • Proficient in one or many of the following languages (Python, C++, Java)

Responsibilities

  • Cisco Quantum Research, part of Emerging Technologies and Incubation (ET&I) Group, is passionate about identifying breakthrough emerging solutions that build new markets and businesses for Cisco. ET&I incubates these new opportunities in partnership with our business groups, partners and other startups. The team also continues progress through Cisco’s significant work with standards bodies and manages research partnerships with leading-edge universities.
