Requirements

  • Must be available to start working in a full-time capacity in 2024/2025
  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills
  • Able to work in NYC on a hybrid schedule
  • Able to work the full dates of the program (June 3-August 8)
  • Must have the ability to prioritize work
  • Must have a love of books!
  • Applicants must be eligible to work and be paid in the United States
  • Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Applicants MUST submit a cover letter. Applications without cover letters will not be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Researches influencers and social media accounts for key campaign outreach, particularly across Bookstagram and BookTok.
  • Creates engaging posts for our imprint’s official social media channels, taking quality photos. writing dynamic copy, and keeping abreast of trends.
  • Reviews NetGalley and Edelweiss e-galley requests, approving or declining, as appropriate.
  • Coordinates mailings to booksellers and social media influencers.
  • Prepares materials for key weekly and seasonal marketing meetings.
  • Provides general administrative assistance including ordering galleys, e-galleys, and promotional items.
  • Provides support on marketing campaigns as directed.
  • Writes copy for marketing letters, newsletters, sell sheets, and other marketing materials as needed.
  • Writes ad copy for select advertising materials including, but not limited to, Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns.
