Responsibilities

  • I would like our intern to work on a project regarding our Sell-Out analysis.
  • I would like to develop a standard template, perhaps to inevitably be used across HA, to analyze future Sell-Out forecasts across categories and identify inconsistencies, inaccuracies, and outliers so that they can be corrected each week by sales team.
  • I would like the intern to also develop a process by which this template is completed, communication to sales happens, sales forecast become updated OR reasons for issues existing within the metrics identified and explained back to the PM team.
  • This analysis tool will not be used to project future forecast, but rather to easily identify errors and inconsistencies.
  • This will help to avoid aged inventory and will also prevent shortages from occurring due to forecast input errors, greatly helping the businesses.
  • Once this tool is completed for cooking and dish categories, it can be expanded to all categories.
  • In parallel to the project, my team will also be teaching the intern about PM R&R’s to create a contextual learned as projects are completed.
