Responsibilities

  • - Ensuring On Time and On Quality (OTOQ) from suppliers of complex and high value RF equipment for Telecommunications Spacecraft;
  • - Regular contact with the supplier (either remotely, or travelling to their premises) and management of contract implementation (multi-project, international);
  • - Timely and accurate reporting and facilitation of appropriate technical interaction between internal experts and suppliers;
  • - Acquiring in-depth knowledge of suppliers leading to effective control and improvement, identifying risks and ensuring implementation of appropriate mitigating actions;
  • - Management of project lifecycle, coordination of key stakeholders, chairing reviews, ensure drum beating and action follow up to maintain key project milestones;
  • - Escalation, both at the supplier or within Airbus as relevant communication to all levels of the business;
  • - Delivering various process improvement projects - the tasks will be varied and will require you to use different skills (lean/agile, project management, communication etc.) in order to complete them successfully.
