Responsibilities

  • In partnership with the Employee Relations Manager, develop and implement programs and tools to facilitate open communication channels for employees to express concerns confidentially.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of company-wide employee relations policies and procedures.
  • Assist in resolving employee complaints and issues in a fair and timely manner, ensuring the interests of all parties are protected.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into alleged violations and make recommendations for remediation, while maintaining accurate and timely case files, documentation and follow up.
  • Provide guidance, coaching and counseling to Human Resources and leaders on critical employee relations decisions, to resolve employment-related matters as defined in the service level agreement.
  • Contribute to internal projects, training development, and continuous improvement projects across HR/ER as needed.
  • Identify and recommend methods to resolve problems, update, and optimize existing processes, procedures/policies, and technologies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee relations cases, including performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions.
  • Determine appropriate risk level and routing of employee relations cases based on established escalation protocol.
  • Provide support to the Employee Relations Manager to help monitor, analyze, and review the case management processes and system to ensure it meets business needs and compliance requirements.
  • Establish reporting mechanisms to track employee relations metrics and identify trends.
  • Analyze data to provide insights and recommendations for enhancing employee engagement and reducing turnover.
  • Proactively identify ways of working that will enhance processes and improve interpersonal and team functioning.
  • Stay updated on state and federal employment laws and regulations to ensure policies remain compliant and up-to-date.
  • Build strong relationships with HR, legal, and other relevant teams to ensure alignment and collaboration on employee relations matters.
  • Consult with partners to provide guidance and recommendations on employee-related issues.
