Responsibilities

  • Take project management responsibilities for assigned IT projects (mainly, from the IT Base and Platforms (IBP) Value Stream), coordination, scheduling and implementation of new or enhanced software applications with business users and other IT technical teams to ensure the completion of project within set time, budget and quality objectives.
  • Support the IBP Steering Committee in the implementation of the governance defined for the stream.
  • Coordinate the preparation of IBP meetings and organise discussions between Value Chains technical leads and IBP leads to prepare the actions and decisions for the IBP Steering Committee.
  • Guide the IBP Steering Committee in refining, prioritising and planning the requests in the backlog.
  • Compile status reports from flagships and key transversal initiatives (e.g.: M365 programme, cloud journey)
  • Monitor and report progress of KPIs defined for IT strategy pillars.
  • Monitor and report the assignment of IBP budget envelope and its consumption.
  • Maintain and track the pipeline of requests received across the demand management tool, following the guidance of Head of Divisions, Head of Units or other key members of IBP Stream.
  • Organise and develop the capacity planning enabling prioritisation of requests within the stream.
  • Help IBP Steering Committee members to detect critical services and associated pain points and risks and guide them to adopt new ways of working created by the new delivery model.
  • Provide support on communication around the committee and its achievements, at programme level as well as to senior management and EIB Group staff.
  • Work closely with DTO’s Project Management Office and provide input for improvement on the demand management, capacity, and project management tools.
  • Participate in Bank-wide initiatives, representing own domain, or in Department-wide initiatives, representing own domain for GCS-GDO.
