What are the primary responsibilities of the Benefits Analyst?
The Benefits Analyst is responsible for managing data integrity and compliance of the company’s healthcare, life, disability, voluntary, and retirement plans, conducting data analysis, partnering with cross-functional teams, ensuring system configuration accuracy, and assisting in regulatory compliance activities.
What qualifications are required for this role?
A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline is required, along with a minimum of 3-4 years of HR experience with regulations such as ERISA, ACA, DOL, COBRA, and FMLA, and 2 years of in-depth benefits experience.
What technical skills are needed for this position?
Advanced technical skills in database report writing, Excel, and other Microsoft software products are necessary, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and prior experience with HRIS systems is required.
Are there any preferred certifications for candidates?
Yes, certifications such as Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) or Group Benefits Associate (GBA), or progress towards these certifications is preferred.
What is the salary range for this position?
The annual base salary range is $50,000 - $61,500 per year, depending on education, experience, knowledge, skills, and internal equity.
