Responsibilities

  • Salesforce Expertise: Become an expert in IBM’s internal Salesforce system. Track, analyse, and report on the effectiveness of marketing efforts in driving sales opportunities, providing actionable insights to sales teams.
  • Opportunity Identification: Actively seek out new sales opportunities that are connected to your efforts. This includes identifying potential leads within your assigned accounts and ensuring they are pursued effectively by the sales team.
  • Lead Management: Action incoming leads related to AI briefings, ensuring they are connected to the correct person within IBM. You will be responsible for setting these up within the agreed service level agreements (SLAs) to maintain high responsiveness and client satisfaction.
  • Account Research & Intelligence: Identify and research top accounts within your assigned geography. Gather and present detailed intelligence on these accounts to relevant IBM sales representatives, helping them to tailor their approach and strategies.
  • Internal Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships and trust with internal IBM stakeholders across Sales and Marketing. Work closely with these teams to develop and execute strategies targeting specific accounts using account-based marketing (ABM) techniques, especially in areas like Gen AI, Hybrid Cloud Services, and Cybersecurity Services.
  • Cross-Sector Collaboration: Present the BDR team and your role to different teams across various sectors within IBM. Drive engagement with our program and demonstrate how your efforts can increase pipeline opportunities for their teams and accounts.
  • Strategy Development: Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to create and refine strategies that align with the needs of target accounts, focusing on driving growth in key areas such as Gen AI, Hybrid Cloud, and Cybersecurity.
