Requirements

  • - Ability to liaise closely with patients, including those with whom it may be difficult to communicate, and with their carers, explaining procedures and results as appropriate.
  • - Ability to deal with some patients who are acutely unwell and/or distressed.
  • - Ability to promote the Trust’s core values of Caring, Respect, Teamwork, Improvement.
  • - Ensure clinical safety standards are met when supervising all rehabilitation sessions in line with service policies.
  • - Maintain all records associated with the Cardiac Physiology Team in an organised and confidential manner in accordance with Code of Conduct and Caldicott Principles.
  • - Prepare clinical areas and maintain clinical equipment, reporting any faults immediately to line manager/service lead.
  • - Assist in the daily cleaning and regular cleaning of equipment as per infection prevention and control standards.
  • - Perform supervisions of assistants and students as necessary.
