What is the main responsibility of a Carvel Route Sales Representative?
The main responsibility is the direct store delivery of quality products to supermarket accounts, including selling and delivering Carvel & Rich’s complete line of high-quality frozen goods.
What are the working hours for this position?
The working hours vary by assigned route, starting as early as 3am, with an average of 10-12 stops a day. Must also be available to work on Saturdays during peak season.
Is a CDL-B license required for this job?
A CDL-B license is preferred before starting. However, if you don’t have one, Rich’s can help you obtain it, and you will be reimbursed for the fee once you start and have obtained your CDL-B license.
What is the age requirement for applicants?
Applicants must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
What physical requirements are needed for this job?
Applicants must be able to lift 50 pounds and be capable of climbing in and out of the truck.
Is prior experience in direct store delivery (DSD) preferred?
Yes, previous DSD experience is considered a bonus for applicants.
What is the compensation range for this role?
The annual compensation range for this role is between $46,985.45 and $63,568.55, based on various non-discriminatory factors such as experience and location.
