Responsibilities

  • Achieve assigned targets with Bayer products in coordination with squad-mates;
  • Deliver squad goals through support of others' role responsibilities;
  • Develop and implement dealer business plans, manage forecasting, inventory management, and product line demand issues;
  • Serve as the key business consultant to retailers and dealers, selling the value of Bayer Crop Science products;
  • Demonstrate proof of product performance against competition and champion Bayer brands;
  • Collaborate with squad-mates and Technology Development Representatives to maximize services and sales;
  • Manage inventory concerns to meet business objectives and anticipate demand;
  • Gather, analyze market and competitive information to drive business decisions;
  • Develop strategies for achieving business plans for key accounts and assigned area;
  • Manage expenses and program payments to enable growth;
  • Expand selling skills and product knowledge, while mentoring peers and teammates;
  • Ensure achievement of program execution and fulfillment, including marketing initiatives;
  • Lead relationships with top growers and retailers, planning for customer business needs;
  • Mentor and coach earlier-in-career Field Sales Reps;
  • Manage area claims per Bayer Crop Science policy through effective problem-solving;
  • Travel approximately 60% with significant face-to-face customer interaction.
