Responsibilities

  • Accounting and Reconciliation and Auditing function on various JH Life, LTC, and Annuity accounts
  • Analysis and investigation to resolve outstanding variances or issues
  • Maintain traceability of research and provide detailed monthly analysis of outstanding balances
  • Ensure suspense balances are maintained within corporate standards for each account
  • Work with various staff in operation areas to identify discrepancies and clear items in a timely manner
  • Preparation of journal entries as needed to resolve discrepancies
  • Escalation of any variances and open items in suspense accounts and other reconciliation tasks
  • Perform reconciliations as per the frequency required
  • Maintain procedures and documentation as directed
  • Ad-hoc projects as assigned
