Responsibilities

  • Effective management of corporate employment and departmental policies which relate to Flight Crew.
  • Application of the Absence Management Policy for Flight Crew, especially those who are long term sick and grounded from flying.
  • Management of the Flight Crew fitness to operate processes as necessary. Act with a ‘safety first’ mentality at all times.
  • Responsible for the monthly Fleet CAP management to include accurate recording and the special leave budget.
  • Manage and record Right to Request part-time applications and Special Leave requests from Flight Crew.
  • Act as the main interface between the LHR pilot community and the fleet teams for all people related matters.
  • Support the Pilot Line Managers as required in engagement and recognition of the pilot community.
  • Management of the provision of Flight Crew meals. Identify reporting trends and liaise with Catering and BALPA to ensure speedy and effective resolution.
