What skills and academic qualifications do I need?:
In Financial Advisory, we look for people who are curious and eager to learn. Someone not afraid to ask questions and willing to get involved. We would like people who love solving problems and are enthusiastic about technology.
You’ll need to have obtained or be studying towards a minimum 2:1 in an undergraduate degree and have graduated by September 2024 for the Autumn 2024 intake.

Responsibilities

What kind of work will I do?:
You will gain exposure to clients in a wide range of industry sectors and have the opportunity to build your skills, knowledge and experience across a variety of projects such as:  
Supporting lawyers and investigators in identifying digital evidence relevant to the investigation, dispute or litigation
Visiting client offices to forensically collect data from sources such as servers, laptops, mobile devices or social media, working covertly if needed
Utilising advanced data mining, audio analytics and computer forensics tools to gain a deep understanding of digital evidence and uncover corporate misconduct
Applying analytics techniques to detect, prevent and investigate complex accounting, economic crime and misconduct issues relating to fraud, bribery and corruption 
Helping our clients engaged in complex disputes to locate and extract evidence held in their information systems and explain precisely how it should be interpreted
How will I develop?:
The programme is a mixture of technical, business and industry-focused training, delivered through online platforms, as well as instructor led courses.  No prior coding or technical skills are required, but to be successful you’ll need a passion for technology and an inquisitive mind. You will obtain a grounding in areas such as investigative analysis, financial crime technology, machine learning techniques, big data tools, and digital evidence and forensic technology procedures before receiving specialist training depending on your current assignment whether it be Digital Forensics, Electronic Discovery, or Data Science and Analytics.
