Requirements

  • To be a successful applicant to the Airbus Global Graduate Programme, you will need to demonstrate:
  • Education to a degree level or equivalent within a relevant field of study. Recently graduated or first professional experience in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
  • Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English)
  • A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation
  • Willing to evolve into next gen of engineers ,extensively developing and employing multiple engineering and digitalisation skills in a diverse global and collaborative environment
  • The ability to be self aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.
  • Interpersonal skills and developing relationships with team members and customers.
  • Basic knowledge of Google Workspace
  • Excellent analytical & presentation skills
  • Capability to adapt with transnational multidisciplinary teams and dynamic environments.
  • What you will need to apply
  • Degree type:
  • Master’s degree or postgraduate degree in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
  • Specific experience or interests:
  • Interest in understanding Airbus business processes, methodologies and tools.
  • Keen to learn product lifecycle management.
  • Basic understanding of technologies & IT knowledge to understand work flows and customer requirements.
  • Familiarity with Project management activities will be an advantage.
  • Basic Knowledge of commercial design tools CATIA, 3DX , Siemens will be considered a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Driving the future backbone of the Airframe PLM landscape to implement a harmonised and collaborative Design platform.
  • Contribute to have the best in class Process, Methods & Tools for the Airframe Design community both within Airbus and within Extended enterprise
  • Understand the requirements from various customers and translate those business values in development terms and vice-versa.
  • Act as a focal point for business owners and be the voice of customers.
  • Creating collaborative roadmaps for different tools while ensuring dependencies
  • Prioritise topics from product backlog as per roadmaps aligned considering upstream and downstream impacts.
  • Ensuring on time communication/ highlighting risks or opportunities to right stakeholders.
  • Following up progress and pro-actively engaging with responsible teams.
  • Building professional connections with multiple departments in the company and identifying collaboration opportunities.
  • The Graduate programme may involve an overseas placement depending on the specific interests,experience and development needs of the successful candidate for the position.
  • At the end of the 2 year development programme you will be fully equipped to be a key player as ‘’Future Product Lifecycle Management Engineer’’ in the Airframe organisation.
