Responsibilities

  • The Head of Employee Relations is responsible for leading a team of ER experts in the handling of formal casework and providing expertise to the organisation around informal processes to ensure successful and timely resolutions.
  • The Head of Employee Relations will create a culture and be a source of expertise which ensures that UCL's treatment of employees is fair, respectful, and consistent with the university's policies and values.
  • Working closely with the Director of Employee Relations, Policy and Planning, the Head of ER is responsible for leading on projects which improve the services delivered by the ER team whilst contributing to the ER Strategy, to enable the University to deliver a proactive service, equipping managers and staff with the skills and frameworks to achieve a positive employee relations environment.
