  • Education & Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience selling to and/or servicing institutions clients preferably in Ireland
  • 7+ years of meaningful sales leadership experience, including proven success in managing teams and for developing and cultivating platinum clients.
  • Experience in an investment management organization, ideally with knowledge in sales management practices
  • Experience in dealing with institutional and intermediary businesses.


  • Reporting to the Head of Institutional in Europe, you will have overall responsibility to develop and execute the Client Coverage Group (CCG) strategy for institutional clients in Ireland. Operating at a Managing Director level, you will be responsible for growing our institutional business by leading distribution and relationship management activities across all SSGA products, drive the strategy and execution. Help drive European Institutional strategy and contribute into European Institutional leadership team.
  • Lead the Institutional Client Coverage team in Ireland to achieve financial targets as well as executing on a disciplined sales strategy.
  • Develop talent within your team and contribute to talent development across SSGA. Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the team to enhance productivity and mitigate risks.
  • Drive a culture of successful client and prospect account management, including the nurturing of executive relationships across the industry.
  • Manging large complex strategic relationships (both domestic and global in nature) that utilise the full breadth of investment solutions provided by SSGA.
  • Partner with all divisions across the organization to establish the tools and systems required to successfully grow the revenue and market share in the Irish market.
  • Lead on One State Street Initiative: Identify opportunities to partner with Institutional Services and Global Markets to develop and deliver “One State Street” solutions to clients and prospects.
  • Take personal and direct responsibility for creating, identifying, advancing, and closing new business opportunities for certain key clients and prospects in a manner that leads to the successful achievement of robust activity and sales targets.
  • Facilitate shared understanding of institutional client strategy and priorities through collaboration with key stakeholders such as senior leaders in intermediary distribution, investments and product development.
  • Take accountability for the adherence to regulatory requirements, policies and procedures.
