Responsibilities

  • Manage all human resources functions and services. Develop and manage employment programs, salary compensation and job evaluations, talent acquisition, benefits, promotions, equal opportunity initiatives, education and training programs. Assist in oversight of employee housing department and the recreation program. Administrative and functional direct supervision of up to 6 staff members at peak season.
  • Oversee the full scope of human resources, housing and employee services department. Directs staff in the areas of: recruitment, onboarding, organizational structure, compensation, employee database maintenance, payroll, employee relations, orientation/training/development, policy/procedure development and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Assist in the full life cycle recruitment process. Assist in job description development, partnering with Talent Acquisition to post jobs, advertise, source candidates, conduct interviews and extend employment offers.
  • Participate in the hiring/ paperwork process as the subject matter expert.
  • Oversight of pre-hire, random and reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol screening program.
  • Oversee international Work and Travel and H2B programs.
  • Guide managers and other employees in matters related to career development, staffing initiatives, employee relations, labor management, workplace ethics and performance management.
  • Design and implement company development and training programs for operations, customer service, orientation, etc.
  • Collect HR metrics, analyze, collate and report the data and identify trends.
  • Plan and coordinate central human resources activities related to seasonal hiring, layoffs and pay rate changes.
  • Investigate and report industrial accidents and manage workers compensation claims.
  • Conduct exit interviews during employee terminations and resignations.
  • Manage and administer rewards and recognition program.
  • Design, develop and administer special projects.
  • Manage employee relations process through conducting investigations and recommendations for resolution.
  • Research, develop and implement human resources programs, systems, policies, procedures and forms to meet changing company needs and government requirements.
  • Provide policy updates and changes to handbooks and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant fair employment practice laws and other government labor regulations.
  • Assist in the property management of on-site employee housing including financials, special projects, room assignments, inspections and residential issues.
  • Other duties as assigned.
