Responsibilities

  • Implement Integrated Pest Management (IPM) methods for control of insects, rodents, feral animals, and vegetation.
  • Apply EPA Registered and DoD Approved products for control and prevention of pests and vegetation as needed.
  • Track, trap, and transport feral animals (Jackals, Foxes, Wild Dogs, Cats, etc.) as needed.
  • Control and prevent insects/pests infestations with focus on filth flies, rodents, ants, bed bugs, mosquitoes, and sand flies.
  • Address snake, bird, and weed control as required.
  • Perform heavy lifting, monitor sanitation practices, and routine inspections of buildings, facilities, and surroundings for potential infestations to ensure all work locations have an effective Integrated Pest Management plan in place.
  • Spray chemicals, lay poisonous bait, set mechanical traps, or any other needed treatments to fix pest problems.
  • Clean areas that harbor pests to prepare areas for fumigation.
  • Utilize a variety of equipment in accordance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) guidelines.
  • Prepare and submit reports as required by work instructions and other applicable contract requirements, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Must be available to work during night hours on occasion.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
