Requirements

  • Required for the position of Mechanical Building Services Engineer:
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services
  • Achieved or working towards Chartership (CEng)
  • Knowledge of Mechanical systems and services / Building Services Engineering Design across a wide range of market sectors
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and mechanical services design tools
  • Preferred, but not required:
  • An ability to support within a BIM environment would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of MS suite

Responsibilities

  • As a Mechanical Building Services Engineer, your role will includes:
  • Assessing and understanding project requirements, undertaking mechanical design across a number of disciplines and agreeing timescales and specifications with clients and managers.
  • Leading and directing junior staff, you will be actively involved in the preparation of documents, reports and health and safety risk assessments as well as interpreting commercial and/or contractual aspects of correspondence with or between fellow professionals on multidisciplinary projects.
