  • Familiarity with multicast network configuration, operation and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with Cisco Unified Communications and AV endpoints such as VoIP Phones and VTC Units

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Network Operations Lead with the design, implementation, and support of LAN/WAN networks and systems
  • Assist the Network Operations Lead with the development and maintenance of network system and service configurations
  • Assist the Network Operations Lead with the remediation of STIGs and other network and system cybersecurity-related tasks
  • Document and troubleshoot network and system issues
  • Create and maintain network diagrams and documentation
  • Test and evaluate network systems and services to reduce problems and make improvements
  • Assist with the configuration, implementation, and utilization of network tools such as Cisco ISE, Wireshark and Opmanager.
  • Assist with Network Design and Configuration standards for Cisco Routers/Switches and Palo Alto Firewalls.
  • Infrequent travel (up to 5%) to support various hardware upgrades at remote sites and coordination with teammates in Huntsville, AL
  • Work infrequent night shifts (with sufficient prior notice) to support configuration changes
