Responsibilities

  • Manage and organise a defined caseload, addressing the health needs of children according to evidence based practice.
  • Undertake in depth health assessments for Children in Care, children who are subject to a Child Protection Plan and vulnerable children, and work according to the Berkshire LSCB Policies and Procedures.
  • Provide targeted health interventions to children and young people with identified health needs.
  • Collaborate with schools, children's social care and other Public Health partners to deliver the universal Healthy Child Programme.
  • Support colleagues in the delivery of compassionate, safe and structured care.
