Responsibilities

  • Develops overall design for project
  • Mentoring staff and building studio culture
  • Organizes and conducts client interviews to determine space needs and requirements
  • Present design in an engaging and confident manner to clients and stakeholders
  • Produces, reviews and finalizes space plans for projects
  • Researches and selects fixtures and finishes to use for projects, maintain relationships with local FF&E representatives
  • Extensive knowledge of detailing and finalizes details on projects
  • Develops and delivers overall design and furniture packages
  • Directs staff and consultants to complete design and technical drawing
  • High level review of consultant drawings to ensure they comply with design solution
  • Works with technical staff to resolve inconsistencies in drawings
  • Work with cost consultant and local consultants to work towards getting the project in budget and locally code compliant.
  • Engage with contractors to deliver design
  • Traveling as required for international projects
