Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, maintenance, and updates of our B2C Blogs, Fan Guides, and Trust websites (WordPress sites) across 31 international markets, ensuring they are consistently up-to-date, aligned with brand guidelines, and that content and technical changes are implemented as needed in collaboration with international teams.
  • Create detailed briefs for WordPress developers to build new websites from scratch or implement new features based on international marketing input, ensuring all requirements are clear and aligned with business goals.
  • Work on the design and development of various B2B and B2C marketing deliverables for all our markets, such as WordPress microsites, marketing landing pages for campaigns, and product launches. These assets must easily be translated across our markets.
  • Provide first-line support for international markets, troubleshooting WordPress issues and escalating complex problems to external developers when necessary.
  • Take technical ownership of the front-end code and follow development best practices.
  • Stay informed on the latest WordPress developments, ensuring sites are always using the most up-to-date plugins, features, and security practices.
  • Create instructions, guides, and tutorials for international markets to use WordPress tools and templates we provide, enabling local teams to make minor updates independently.
  • Ensure all design and development is consistent with our corporate brand and technical guidelines.
  • Offer design and technical front-end support to markets when needed. Our markets don’t have developers locally, so you will be the strategic lead on marketing dev output, advising and troubleshooting for local marketing teams.
  • Help improve design processes and documentation standards via building strong relationships with other designers across the business (sales, product, and marketing).
  • Make actionable and measurable design decisions that drive key business priorities, prioritising your workload according to business needs.
  • Find the best solutions to provide a great user brand experience across multiple touchpoints, always appraising and improving upon previous work.
  • Keep skills fresh and stay informed of industry best practices, as well as technical and design trends.
